About The Position

As we continue to grow, we're looking for a Production Manager who can lead our manufacturing operations, develop our people, and drive operational excellence. The Production Manager is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating all daily manufacturing operations to ensure production goals are achieved safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within quality standards. This individual will lead production personnel, improve processes, maximize productivity, and foster a culture focused on safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience
  • 3+ years managing supervisors or production teams
  • Strong leadership and people development skills
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to analyze production metrics and make data-driven decisions
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in industrial or custom manufacturing environments
  • Hydraulic Hose & Fitting Experience
  • Experience implementing process improvements
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality systems

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise production supervisors and manufacturing team members.
  • Ensure production schedules are met while maintaining quality and efficiency.
  • Monitor daily production metrics, labor utilization, and equipment performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that reduce waste, improve throughput, and lower operating costs.
  • Promote and enforce all safety policies and OSHA compliance.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Purchasing, Quality, and Maintenance to ensure smooth production flow.
  • Develop production schedules based on customer demand and available resources.
  • Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop supervisors and team members.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and support employee development.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and proper material flow.
  • Ensure compliance with company quality standards and manufacturing procedures.
  • Analyze production data and prepare operational reports for leadership.
  • Manage labor costs, overtime, and departmental budgets.
  • Foster a positive, high-performance work environment built on accountability and teamwork.
