About The Position

TCW Trends, Inc. is seeking an experienced Production Manager with solid apparel manufacturing experience and strong hands‑on leadership skills. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys problem‑solving, and can confidently manage multiple styles, timelines, and vendor relationships. Experience with club store programs (Sam’s Club, Costco) is a plus. You will oversee day‑to‑day production operations, support cross‑functional teams, and ensure products move smoothly from development through final delivery. This role is essential to keeping our production workflow accurate, organized, and on schedule. The Production Manager oversees the full production lifecycle — costing, tech pack review, T&A management, sample approvals, vendor communication, and coordination of testing and shipping. You will work closely with the customers, vendors and factories to ensure products meet quality and brand standards. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being in the details.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience as manager in apparel production and product development, including some team or vendor management.
  • Strong understanding of the full production lifecycle, from sourcing and costing to delivery.
  • Experience with knits and wovens.
  • Proven ability to manage overseas vendors and factories (Asia, South Asia, or similar regions).
  • Highly organized, detail ‑ oriented, and able to manage multiple timelines.
  • Strong problem ‑ solving skills and comfort working in a fast ‑ paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Ability to work onsite in Torrance, CA.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Product Development and Production team to ensure smooth workflow from concept through delivery.
  • Communicate daily with overseas factories to maintain alignment on timelines, quality expectations, and deliverables.
  • Support sourcing for fabrics, trims, and raw materials; negotiate pricing, MOQs, and lead times.
  • Maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure accountability and on ‑ time performance.
  • Review production calendars, WIP reports, costing sheets, and T&A milestones for accuracy.
  • Troubleshoot production delays, quality issues, and workflow challenges with urgency and professionalism.
