About The Position

Hanwha Defense USA is seeking a Production Manager to lead manufacturing execution for tracked artillery vehicle programs. This role oversees build readiness, production planning, and execution across prototype, pre-production, and production phases. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in defense manufacturing, vehicle assembly, and cross-functional coordination to ensure products meet schedule, cost, and quality requirements.

Requirements

Experience in vehicle or ground system manufacturing.
Strong understanding of production workflows, configuration management, and technical build requirements.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional production teams.
7+ years of manufacturing experience with an emphasis on management
Experience with ERP systems

Nice To Haves

Active Secret clearance preferred; ability to obtain required

Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day manufacturing supervision, leadership, and support to ensure a smooth and efficient operation in accordance with operating policies, applicable laws, and internal quality standards.
Develop and maintain production plans, schedules, and work instructions to support program milestones.
Oversee daily production activities, ensuring build tasks are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with technical requirements.
Lead resolution of build issues through collaboration with engineering, supply chain, and quality teams.
Ensure manufacturing processes adhere to configuration control and validated engineering data.
Monitor production performance, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to maintain schedule commitments.
Support readiness for integration events, vehicle assembly, system checkout, and acceptance activities.
Drive continuous improvement across manufacturing processes, tooling, documentation, and workflow optimization.
Monitor operational efficiencies and other data reports to guide labor efforts to meet or exceed standards
