About The Position
Oversee daily operations for cabinet manufacturing. Initiate, Drive and Lead production teams focused on improvements in Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost.
Requirements
- Self motivated with strong interpersonal communication and cross functional skills.
- Teamwork skills.
- Leadership/ supervisory skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong customer service bias.
- College degree preferred or experience equivalent.
- Knowledge and skill in MS office software.
- Knowledge of ERP systems.
- 4- 10 years of experience in a management capacity.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of wood working products used in cabinet manufacturing (preferred).
- Experience with lean and continuous improvement (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire production process from start to finish.
- Monitor workflow and resolve disruptions.
- Supervise, motivate and provide feedback to production staff.
- Set performance standards for direct reports and provide feedback.
- Assist direct reports in all HR activities including recruitment, evaluations, promotions, disciplinary action and terminations.
- Organize and lead training activities.
- Utilize lean tools to drive continuous improvement.
- Liaise with other departments including Purchasing, sales, customer service, engineering and maintenance.
- Develop and utilize daily, weekly and monthly KPIs to monitor and report on performance.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
