About The Position

Broadcast Management Group (BMG) is a leading global broadcast production company headquartered in Washington, DC, with operations in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Las Vegas. BMG provides Managed Services to major broadcast networks, corporations, and studios, and is a top-tier producer of large-scale live multi-camera news, sports, entertainment, and corporate productions. Our Live Broadcast Production Division delivers complex REMI, flypack, and studio-based shows for some of the most recognizable media brands. The Production Manager (PM) is the operational driver behind BMG’s live, multi-camera productions. Partnering with clients, technical leadership, and crew, the PM owns the end-to-end execution of assigned shows, from pre-production planning and crewing through on-air delivery and post-show reconciliation. This is a client- and vendor-facing role that demands white-glove service, sharp logistics judgment, and a deep working knowledge of live broadcast workflows. The PM will manage scheduling across BMG’s multi-city facility footprint and on-location productions (domestic and international), build and grow the freelance network, and provide hands-on control-room support as needed. Ideal candidates bring extensive live-event experience, established industry relationships, and a calm, solutions-first presence under showtime pressure.
