Rollon by Timken is seeking an experienced Production Manager for our growing Norton Shores, MI facility. Our ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating manufacturing machinery and equipment (CNC, Mills, Lathes, etc.), and have a deep understanding of manufacturing safety and quality processes. This position will report directly to the Operations Manager, Americas and be responsible for Employees on 1st and 2nd shift.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent
  • 7+ years experience leading production operations, including managing and leading others
  • Technical background (Mechanical Engineering preferred)
  • 5S and Lean experience (ISO a plus!)
  • OSHA experience
  • Abillity to travel both domestically and internationally as required (~10% or less expected)

Responsibilities

  • Ensure our production floor is a safe, clean, and organized work environment at all times
  • Drive EH&S initiatives
  • Ensure quality control processes are adhered to
  • Manage the day-to-day manufacturing flows in partnership with each department
  • Lead Troubleshoot and resolve production related challenges that arise
  • Ensure standard operating procedures are followed
  • Monitor KPIs and make data-based business decisions to support the successful operation
  • Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and teamwork
  • Develop our Production floor talent through training and mentoring channels available
  • Participate in the selection of new production hires
