Floor Coverings International is seeking a Production Manager to lead daily operations, manage installer relationships, and ensure customer satisfaction from start to finish. This role requires strong leadership, multitasking, attention to detail, and industry knowledge. Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in flooring installation and/or production management preferred
• Strong communication skills, both by phone and in person
• Proficient in scheduling, planning, and workflow optimization
• Tech-savvy (Salesforce, Excel, Outlook, or similar tools)
• Proactive problem-solver with strong planning skills
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Confident decision-making abilities
• Ability to visit active job sites and warehouse areas, including walking on uneven surfaces and occasional lifting
• Valid driver's license and proof of insurance

Responsibilities

• Build and nurture lasting relationships to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
• Keep customers and installers informed with clear, timely updates on project timelines, start dates, and any immediate needs.
• Lead weekly meetings with sales staff to review new sales and ongoing projects.
• Proactively source and evaluate installer talent.
• Oversee relationships with installers and vendors to ensure consistent quality and dependable partnerships.
• Resolve conflicts, negotiate effectively, and troubleshoot challenges that arise during construction to keep projects on track.
• Organize and oversee product storage for efficient, orderly warehouse operations.
• Conduct regular job site visits to verify that work meets company standards and customer expectations.
• Oversee product allocation and manage job costs efficiently.
• Take before-and-after photos on every project to ensure accountability and quality.
• Strive for 5-star ratings on every project through exceptional service and strong relationships.
