Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as Manager in a Production Environment.
  • Must have strong skills related to Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
  • Must be comfortable performing work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must pass background check and drug test.

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required, a combination of education and experience may replace bachelor’s preference.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solution(s) to solve problems.
  • Plan and establish work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet production goals.
  • Communicate department strategies, successes, and failures through a variety of means.
  • Hire, train, evaluate, and terminate staff.
  • Listen to, and resolve, Team Member complaints or issues regarding a variety of matters.
  • Work w/Fabrication and Inventory/Purchasing regarding parts availability to properly plan and schedule work.
  • Oversee the training of new, and existing, Team Members through Team Leads to include equipment operations or work and safety procedures.
  • Review prints in SolidWorks and communicate critical information to Production Team Members, Fabrication and/or Engineering.
  • Enforce safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Attend company meetings to exchange information and coordinate work activities with other departments.
  • Prepare reports for management.
  • Work with outside vendors (Chassis dealers, drive shaft suppliers, etc.) to order and request deliveries.
  • Review BOMs w/BOM Analyst to ensure correct options are ordered.
  • Provide team members with assistance in performing difficult or complicated duties.
  • Assist in locating parts, verifying correct parts are ordered/delivered, etc.
  • Order shop tools and supplies as necessary.
  • Other duties as needed to meet production requirements.
