Requirements

Minimum 3 years’ experience as Manager in a Production Environment.
Must have strong skills related to Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
Must be comfortable performing work in a fast-paced environment.
Must pass background check and drug test.

Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required, a combination of education and experience may replace bachelor’s preference.
Experience working with Chassis, Hydraulic, Electrical, and/or Plumbing systems preferred.

Responsibilities

Analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solution(s) to solve problems.
Plan and establish work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet production goals.
Communicate department strategies, successes, and failures through a variety of means.
Hire, train, evaluate, and terminate staff.
Listen to, and resolve, Team Member complaints or issues regarding a variety of matters.
Work w/Fabrication and Inventory/Purchasing regarding parts availability to properly plan and schedule work.
Oversee the training of new, and existing, Team Members through Team Leads to include equipment operations or work and safety procedures.
Review prints in SolidWorks and communicate critical information to Production Team Members, Fabrication and/or Engineering.
Enforce safety and sanitation regulations.
Attend company meetings to exchange information and coordinate work activities with other departments.
Prepare reports for management.
Work with outside vendors (Chassis dealers, drive shaft suppliers, etc.) to order and request deliveries.
Review BOMs w/BOM Analyst to ensure correct options are ordered.
Provide team members with assistance in performing difficult or complicated duties.
Assist in locating parts, verifying correct parts are ordered/delivered, etc.
Order shop tools and supplies as necessary.
Other duties as needed to meet production requirements.
