About The Position

The Production Manager will assist and coach team(s) to ensure quality, production, and shipment requirements are being met. This role is responsible for maintaining a safe workplace and work culture in accordance with company policy(s) and MSHA standards, staying current with new equipment and technology in the industry, and meeting budgeted production targets. The Production Manager will also maintain environmental compliance per company policy, permits, and government regulations, manage data captured including but not limited to SAP inputs, timecard maintenance, EMS system, and Blast reporting. Additionally, this role involves managing employee productivity, job performance, and overall production efficiencies, implementing training plans to provide employees with the necessary training to perform their job safely and effectively, and ensuring compliance with work instructions to define and control the production process. The Production Manager will also participate in long-term capital project planning and manage capital projects within the department.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction or related field.
Understanding of heavy equipment and mining operations.
Detail and process oriented with strong problem resolution abilities.
Must be able to work in a team environment and willing and able to adapt to fast-paced changing environments.

Nice To Haves

5 years of experience in mining or construction environment is preferred.
Positive and proactive attitude with ability to address issues and implement solutions.
