Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field and at least six years of progressive manufacturing experience or an equivalent combination of education and training.
  • Strong understanding of electrical/electronic manufacturing processes, quality control, cost management, and effective use of the SAP system, particularly in shop floor control, production planning, and inventory control.
  • Familiarity with operations management concepts and safety requirements.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Proficiency in both verbal and written communication.
  • Strong reasoning ability with exceptional analytical skills.
  • Capacity to define problems, gather relevant data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting drawings and specifications.
  • Keen aptitude for analytical thinking and a thorough understanding of technical details.

Responsibilities

  • Manages the production activities of the shop floor.
  • Supervises all production operations such as machining, processing, and assembly.
  • Reviews processing schedules and production orders to make decisions concerning inventory requirements, staffing requirements, work procedures, and duty assignments, considering budgetary limitations and time constraints.
  • Reviews operations reports and confers with technical or administrative staff to resolve production or processing problems.
