The Production Manager is responsible for coordinating and managing the activities of the shop operations to include Truck Equipment installation, Paint, Quality Control and Pick Up & Delivery with the direction of the Plant Manager.

Requirements

Monitoring/accessing performance of yourself and other individuals to make improvements or take corrective actions.
Knowledge of wire and filler material applications for various steel alloys, aluminum, and some exotic materials
Working knowledge of fixturing and weld set up parameters (amps, volts, etc.)
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to understand and operate all safety equipment in the area.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
Ability to read, write, comprehend, and verbally communicate simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English.
Ability to read and understand written or verbal instructions presented in English.

Responsibilities

Allocates resources, provides feedback, and ensures organized production.
Assign tasks, assist, and train other personnel to support future growth.
Determine work procedures, prepares work schedules and expedites workflow.
Issues written and oral instructions.
Assign duties and examine work for exactness, neatness and conformance to policies and procedures.
Assists with the maintenance and repair of equipment as needed.
Troubleshoot issues that arise on the shop floor and confer with supervisors, leads, and production personnel to resolve problems, keeping projects moving for the best outcome.
Communicates across multiple departments.
Demonstrates leadership behaviors that support our Company Values.
Advocate plant and employee safety, ensuring all employees are utilizing safety procedures.
Perform inspections as required by company and customer standards.
