We're looking for an experienced Off-Shift Manager to lead our filling and packaging operations during off-shift hours. In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring production goals are achieved safely, efficiently, and with the highest quality standards while developing a high-performing team and driving continuous improvement. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • In lieu of a degree, at least 5 years of experience in a filling and packaging manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and employee development skills.
  • Strong leadership and team development abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience improving manufacturing processes and operational efficiency
  • Strong organizational and decision-making skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, Operations Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Cosmetics or pharmaceutical manufacturing experience.
  • Experience working in FDA-regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Experience using SAP or similar ERP systems.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily filling and packaging operations to meet production schedules, quality standards, and customer expectations.
  • Supervise, coach, and develop production employees to build a highly engaged and accountable workforce.
  • Coordinate shift transitions to maintain production continuity and maximize equipment effectiveness.
  • Partner with Production, Maintenance, Quality, and other departments to optimize scheduling and operations.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean manufacturing and structured problem-solving tools.
  • Monitor and improve key performance metrics including safety, quality, labor efficiency, scrap, downtime, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
  • Manage department costs including labor, overtime, inventory, and production supplies.
  • Ensure compliance with FDA Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), company policies, SOPs, and safety regulations.
  • Support safety initiatives, incident investigations, and corrective actions.
  • Complete employee performance evaluations and maintain accurate operational documentation.
