Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in manufacturing is a plus.
  • Proven experience in manufacturing, particularly in structural components assembly.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
  • Familiarity with various materials and manufacturing processes.
  • Proficiency in the use of hand and power tools.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well in a team.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and manufacturing best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to understand component specifications.
  • Cut, shape, and form materials such as metal, composite materials, or plastics according to design specifications.
  • Operate machinery, including CNC machines, press brakes, and cutting tools, to fabricate structural components.
  • Assemble fabricated components into larger structures or products, following assembly instructions and quality standards.
  • Use hand and power tools to attach, fasten, and align parts, ensuring structural integrity.
  • Conduct visual inspections and measurements to verify that components meet quality standards and tolerances.
  • Identify and report any defects or deviations from specifications.
  • Maintain accurate records of materials used, work performed, and inspection results.
  • Complete production logs and reports as required.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines when working with materials and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and industry regulations.
