About The Position

As a Manager, Production Dermis you’ll play a vital role in advancing our mission. In this position, you’ll have direct responsibility for operational and strategic planning and execution, managing staffing and resources, participating in and leading cross functional teams, and driving continuous improvements throughout the scope of responsibility while influencing change in other areas. Ensures all operational activities are compliant with FDA Quality System Regulations, ISO regulations, and AATB standards.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • Four (4) years LNH P&L Team Lead /supervisory/management experience (minimum 2 years with direct reports)
  • Three (3) years related experience in operations, manufacturing or production environment (Five (5) years without a bachelor's degree)
  • Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Able to identify problems, collect and review related information, develop and evaluate options, and implement solutions.
  • Able to convey information orally and in writing as well as deliver presentations to an audience.
  • Able to motivate and inspire the team to achieve production goals; able to manage conflict and drive change.
  • Able to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Able to prioritize multiple, competing priorities and manage time/workload.
  • Able to learn new skills, grafts, and adapt to developing product lines.

Responsibilities

  • Provides oversight into the assigned team by supervising, guiding and directing employees to be effective team members.
  • Ensures that everyone is equipped with the right skills, tools, and talents necessary for executing their duties.
  • Using the established people processes (performance, development, succession, and career) to ensure that their team’s level of performance and capabilities meet current and future standards.
  • Oversee effective initial and ongoing training for technical staff.
  • Ensure all training records are complete, and competencies are verified by policies.
  • Develop and maintain effective SOPs and ensure staff compliance with all applicable SOPs and all applicable LNH policies
  • Investigate customer complaints and internal errors, conduct root-cause analyses, implement corrective and preventative actions and monitor effectiveness of those actions.
  • Analyze operational metrics and standards and make or recommend operating decisions accordingly.
  • Identify areas for improvement and manage the development of new processes.
  • Effectively utilize Lean concepts to improve quality and efficiency.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators including financial metrics.
  • Investigate trends and/or variances and adjust operations or recommend adjustments as necessary.
  • Participate in the development of departmental annual budgets (operational and capital).
  • Achieve department budgeted units of services while maintaining costs within budget.
