About The Position

The Production Manager is a key member of Bandit’s Creative team, responsible for the day-to-day planning and execution of photo, video, content, and brand productions. You’ll work closely with the Creative team, and cross-functional partners to turn creative concepts into well-organized, well-executed productions. You’ll own the details—from crew and equipment to locations, schedules, travel, catering, call sheets, and on-set logistics—so the creative team can stay focused on the work.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in creative production, photo/video production, production coordination, or a related field.
  • Experience producing photo and/or video shoots, ideally within fashion, apparel, sport, lifestyle, editorial, or consumer brands.
  • Strong understanding of the production process from pre-production through shoot day and post-production.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and an ability to keep track of many moving pieces at once.
  • Resourceful problem solver who stays calm and solutions-oriented when things inevitably change.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with creative teams, vendors, talent, and external partners.
  • Comfortable managing production budgets, estimates, invoices, and vendor relationships.
  • Existing relationships with photographers, crew, freelancers, rental houses, locations, and other production resources in New York and beyond.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and travel as production schedules require.
  • Proficiency with production and project management tools and strong comfort with Google Workspace and spreadsheets.
  • Genuine interest in running, sport, fashion, photography, culture, and the world Bandit is building

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day logistics of creative productions across campaigns, product launches, editorial, social content, e-commerce, events, and other brand initiatives.
  • Support the Senior Producer in developing production plans, schedules, budgets, and production approaches.
  • Independently manage smaller-scale shoots and productions from pre-production through wrap and final delivery.
  • Coordinate photographers, directors, stylists, hair and makeup, talent, assistants, crew, vendors, locations, equipment, catering, transportation, and other production needs.
  • Source and coordinate freelancers and production partners, maintaining strong relationships with Bandit’s creative network.
  • Build and distribute call sheets, production schedules, crew lists, contact sheets, and other production documents.
  • Coordinate shoot logistics including location scouting, permits, equipment rentals, travel, accommodations, catering, transportation, and on-site needs.
  • Support casting and talent logistics, including schedules, releases, fittings, travel, and day-of coordination.
  • Track production budgets, estimates, invoices, purchase orders, and expenses in partnership with the Senior Producer and relevant internal teams.
  • Be a key point of contact for vendors and crew before and during productions.
  • Attend and help manage shoots on set, troubleshooting issues and keeping production moving.
  • Anticipate production needs and potential issues before they become problems.
  • Coordinate post-production logistics, including file delivery, selects, retouching, editing, color, and final asset delivery as needed.
  • Maintain organized production files, contacts, vendor information, releases, and other documentation.
  • Help develop and improve production processes, templates, and systems as Bandit’s creative operation scales.
  • Support multiple productions and creative projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail.
