About The Position
To maintain the facilities, systems, and equipment in accordance with Herbruck’s strictest quality standards and to keep them in optimal condition.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Maintenance Experience
- Able to work around moving machinery comfortably
- Willing to work a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays as assigned
- Working in a farm environment with very dusty conditions
- Does not own or maintain routine contact with swine or birds
Responsibilities
- Repair of equipment used daily
- Flush water line and add cleaner when necessary
- Repair egg saver controls
- Repair conveyor drives, water systems
- Preventative maintenance of equipment daily
- Maintenance on driveways, lawn, and snow care
- Maintain grounds around all buildings
- Possible construction remodeling projects
- Minor office maintenance and repair
- Any other duties assigned by management
- Ability to comply with the strictest standards for animal welfare and to report incidents of abuse, neglect, or breach of biosecurity to preserve the health and welfare of our birds.
