About The Position

The successful candidate will be part of a manufacturing assembly team that is involved with microelectronic components. You will have annual training requirements in topics ranging from safety, hazardous materials, quality systems, and other topics. This is an onsite position with scheduled hours of Monday – Friday 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM.

Requirements

HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) or vocational/ technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
Experience in a microelectronics manufacturing environment within the aerospace or defense industry
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Nice To Haves

Solder experience to Military and/or ANSI/J standards is highly desired
Microelectronic assembly experience
Strong safety focus
Positive attitude and teaming skills needed
Demonstrated drive for continuous improvement
A successful candidate would be able to accomplish daily work tasks with minimal supervision
Hand/finger dexterity and attention to detail
Basic computer and math skills
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Effective time management skills are a must

Responsibilities

Manual assembly tasks, solder, operating semi and automated processing equipment, operating ovens, using a microscope to perform and inspect work
Sit and stand for prolonged period
Follow detailed written work instructions using our Factory Operating System (FOS), create nonconformances in FOS, and perform rework
Communicate effectively, multi-task, and be flexible with the work assignments
Perform repetitive tasks in accordance with an established, proven process and perform in-process inspection in accordance with company standards and customer specifications
