About The Position

The Production Maintenance Technician at Swire Coca-Cola is responsible for repairing and maintaining all assets within the production facility. This role involves identifying, troubleshooting, and repairing problems that occur in production equipment and processes.

Requirements

• High School Diploma (or GED) or equivalent degree/certificate required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must become forklift certified within 1 month of hire.
• Ability to perform essential functions with little or no supervision.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays as directed by the business.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot equipment problems and perform immediate repairs on production equipment in between shifts and line changes to prevent variations in product quality.
• Schedule and conduct preventive maintenance regularly as assigned by the business to prolong the useful life of equipment.
• Perform equipment change-overs and production line set-ups to prepare for production prior to production changes.
• Overhaul and install new equipment on to machines as directed by the business.
• Rebuild, fabricate, and manage parts inventory to ensure an adequate supply.
• Attend meetings as assigned and assist with special projects and events.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
