About The Position

Working at Freudenberg: We will wow your world! Responsibilities: Complete work orders related to machine repairs. Perform routine and preventive maintenance to maximize system uptime and efficiency. Identify potential system failures and ensure critical components are stocked for quick repairs to reduce downtime of machines, supporting production demand. Conduct system testing and calibration. Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics. Change over on some equipment to other products. If assigned to Injection Molding - maintain all facets of injection molding machines, PET fiber extrusion lines, and assembly lines. If assigned to Automation - install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair automation systems, robotic arms, PLC systems, and conveyor systems (non-software related). Work with industrial robotic assembly devices, cobots, AGV / AMR, vision systems, electrical systems, and manufacturing automation systems to ensure optimal performance. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: High School diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred. Experience in mid to large size production facilities involving plastic injection molding, assembly, and/or automation repair required. Those being considered for automation must have technical expertise in electronics, mechanics, pneumatics, and automation systems (mechatronic background), including PLC troubleshooting and repair. Those being considered for injection molding must have knowledge of auxiliary equipment - hydraulics, mold temperature controllers, hot runner controllers, sprue pickers, robots, and mold setup. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to quickly diagnose and resolve system malfunctions. Experience with preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics. Strong communication skills to coordinate with engineers, technicians, and other team members. Ability to work independently on moderately complex tasks. Requirements
