About The Position

Working at Freudenberg: We will wow your world! Responsibilities: Diagnose and repair issues with automated systems, robotic arms, PLC systems, and conveyor systems (nonsoftware related). Perform routine and preventive maintenance to maximize system uptime and efficiency. Work with industrial robotic assembly devices, cobots, AGV / AMR, vision systems, electrical systems, and manufacturing automation systems to ensure optimal performance. Identify potential system failures and ensure critical components are stocked for quick repairs. Stay updated on the latest advancements in automation technology and suggest process improvements. Collaborate with engineers and technicians to ensure smooth operation of all automated systems. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Ability to work 2nd Shift 2 pm-10 pm, or 3rd Shift 10 pm-6 am.
  • High School diploma / GED equivalent required; associate's degree preferred.
  • Technical expertise in electronics, mechanics, pneumatics, and automation systems (mechatronic background).
  • This role requires someone with strong automation experience.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to quickly diagnose and resolve system malfunctions.
  • Experience with PLC troubleshooting and repair.
  • Experience with preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Strong communication skills to coordinate with engineers, technicians, and other team members.
  • Lift objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights.
