3rd Shift Production Maintenance Technician

Requirements
- High School Diploma (or GED) required or equivalent degree/certificate required
- Must be able to learn and fully operate assigned production equipment
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must become forklift certified within 1 month of hire
- Ability to perform essential functions with little or no supervision
- Ability to work weekends and holidays as directed by the business
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot equipment problems and perform immediate repairs on production equipment in between shifts and line changes so that variations in product quality don’t occur.
- Schedule and conduct preventive maintenance to prolong the useful life of equipment. This is done regularly as assigned by the business.
- Prior to production changes this employee performs equipment change-overs and production line set-ups to prepare for production.
- Overhaul and install new equipment on to machines as directed by the business.
- Rebuild, fabricate and manage parts inventory to ensure an adequate inventory
- Attend meetings as assigned and assist with special projects and events
- Performs other duties as assigned.
