About The Position

We are looking for a skilled and dependable Production Maintenance Technician to support our manufacturing operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment. The Production Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and installing manufacturing equipment to ensure efficient production operations. This role works with a variety of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems and plays a key role in supporting safety, quality, and productivity goals.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or production environment.
  • Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, diagrams, technical manuals, and operating procedures.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting.
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work in refrigerated, cold, or wet environments.
  • Manual dexterity and ability to safely use maintenance tools and equipment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in food manufacturing or other high-volume production environments.
  • Knowledge of industrial electrical systems and motor controls.
  • Experience working with conveyors, packaging equipment, and automated production machinery.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production machinery and equipment.
  • Diagnose equipment failures and identify root causes of mechanical issues.
  • Repair or replace defective parts using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment.
  • Install and adjust mechanical and structural components as needed.
  • Maintain hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
  • Test equipment following repairs to verify proper operation.
  • Lubricate, clean, and inspect machinery to maximize reliability and performance.
  • Work with single-phase and three-phase electrical systems, including 120V, 208V, and 480V circuits.
  • Follow all company safety, GMP, food safety, and sanitation requirements.
  • Maintain Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) compliance and certification requirements.
  • Support SQF maintenance program requirements and documentation.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
