About The Position

The Production Maintenance Technician is responsible for repairing and maintaining all assets within the production facility. This role involves identifying, troubleshooting, and repairing problems that occur in production equipment and processes.

Requirements

• High School Diploma (or GED) or equivalent degree/certificate required.
• Must be able to learn and fully operate assigned production equipment.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must become forklift certified within 1 month of hire.
• Ability to perform essential functions with little or no supervision.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays as directed by the business.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot equipment problems and perform immediate repairs on production equipment in between shifts and line changes to prevent variations in product quality.
• Schedule and conduct preventive maintenance regularly to prolong the useful life of equipment.
• Perform equipment change-overs and production line set-ups prior to production changes.
• Overhaul and install new equipment on machines as directed.
• Rebuild, fabricate, and manage parts inventory to ensure an adequate supply.
• Attend meetings as assigned and assist with special projects and events.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
