Production Maintenance Mechanic - St. Cloud
About The Position
Viking Coca-Cola is hiring a full-time, onsite Production Maintenance Mechanic in St. Cloud, Minnesota. The position supports operational excellence by keeping production equipment running smoothly. The mechanic troubleshoots and assembles equipment using drawings, specifications, blueprints, and schematics, working with electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical sub-assemblies, including PLC controls. The role also uses photo and video tools, follows a maintenance work schedule from a supervisor while exercising independent judgment, overhauls and installs equipment, operates machinery after repairs, rebuilds custom parts, completes work orders in a CMMS, and maintains an organized workspace.
Requirements
- Completion of a certificate program in the field.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and assemble equipment across production areas using drawings, specifications, blueprints, and schematics.
- Work on electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical sub-assemblies, including PLC controls.
- Use photo and video tools to support maintenance work.
- Carry out the maintenance work schedule provided by the supervisor, using independent judgment.
- Overhaul and install equipment.
- Operate machinery after repairs.
- Rebuild custom parts.
- Complete work orders using the CMMS.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
