Production Machine Operator
About The Position
We, Business Unit (BU) Specialized, belong to the Tube Division within Alleima Group, and we are a world leading producer and supplier of specialized tubular products in growing key market segments such as Aerospace, Medical and Hydrogen. Our products are corrosion resistant alloys based on stainless steel, nickel, titanium… We are now looking for Production Machine Operators for our very promising site of Alleima Precision Tube, based at Scottdale PA, USA. We are a plant specialized in producing high precision stainless and nickel alloy tube products to various high demanding industries including aerospace, transportation, nuclear and petrochemical.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- Must be able to work Second shift (3:00PM to 11:00PM), and/or Night shift (11:00 PM to 7:00AM).
- Can-do attitude.
- Strong work ethic.
- Track record of dependability and safety.
- Ability to learn on the job.
- Ability to respect and encourage safety.
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE).

Responsibilities
- Setting up and operating machinery and material handling equipment on the production floor.
- Operating machinery including overhead cranes, small and large swagers, and cutting machinery.
- Measuring and material transportation.
- Setup, calibration, and operation of machines used in production processes.
- Following established procedures for operating various conventional and/or specialized manufacturing processes (drawing, heat treatment, cutting, straightening etc etc ).
- Selecting and measuring raw materials and parts to specifications to prepare for production processing.
- Raising and reporting issues related to the organization's production, machinery, processing and/or packaging operations.
- Inspecting machining operations and finished product against specified tolerances using precision measuring tools.
- Maintaining and cleaning workstation.
- Adhering to safety and housekeeping (5S) requirements.
