About The Position

Avery Dennison is seeking a Production Machine Operator who is mechanically curious, takes ownership of their equipment, and thrives in a performance-driven environment. Located in the Greenfield industrial corridor, our facility is easily accessible from I-70, making it a quick 20-minute commute for talent coming from East Indianapolis, Shelbyville, or Anderson. This role offers a high-paying opportunity outside the heavy traffic of Marion County.

Requirements

High School Diploma/GED OR 3+ years of manufacturing experience.
Mechanically curious.
Takes ownership of equipment.
Thrives in a performance-driven environment.
Accountability: Takes pride in work and learns from challenges.
Technical Aptitude: Enjoys understanding how machines work.
Adaptability: Can pivot quickly when production priorities shift.
Reliability: Dependable and values a consistent attendance record.
May require the ability to stand/walk for up to 80% of your shift.
Frequent pushing, pulling, bending, reaching, and squatting 50% of the time.
May require the ability to lift up to 50 pounds 50% of your shift.
May require being comfortable working in an environment with varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

Perform set-ups, changeovers, and monitor equipment to meet production targets.
Identify root causes of malfunctions rather than applying "band-aid" fixes.
Use tape measures and tools to maintain close tolerances and "zero-defect" quality.
Prioritize a safety-first mindset and step in to help coworkers meet site goals.
