About The Position

We’re looking for hands-on, mechanically minded operators who enjoy working with equipment, solving problems, and being part of a team that takes pride in what they produce. If you like staying busy, learning new machines, and seeing the results of your work every day — this role is for you. The role involves operating automated manufacturing equipment to meet production goals, producing assigned products with verbal and written instructions, completing equipment set-up procedures and preventative maintenance, and using tools and measuring devices to maintain, adjust, and repair equipment. The operator will also be responsible for preparing production and maintenance reports, dismantling and reassembling heavy plant components, completing minor repairs, and following safety regulations. Effective communication during shift changes regarding product discrepancies or equipment malfunctions is also crucial.

Requirements

  • 3+ of experience in a similar role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with Front Line people Leadership
  • Basic computer skills required.
  • Strong Data Driven core, with a proven ability to communicate performance, quality, safety, and overall process efficiency and inspire shop floor employees to succeed.
  • Ability to self-motivate, work autonomously and proactively.
  • Availability to work flexible hours and overtime including nights and weekends, when necessary.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Nice To Haves

  • Basic Mechanical and electrical knowledge is a plus.
  • Experience in manufacturing concrete and concrete products.
  • Experience with concrete manufacturing equipment: Masa, Hess, Omag, Columbia, Rekers and Besser etc. a plus.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft tools a plus

Responsibilities

  • Operate automated manufacturing equipment to meet production goals
  • Produce assigned products with verbal and written instructions.
  • Complete equipment set-up procedures and preventative maintenance.
  • Use tools and measuring devices to maintain, adjust and repair equipment.
  • Accurately prepare all necessary production and maintenance reports daily.
  • Dismantle and reassemble heavy plant components using hoists and hand tools.
  • Complete minor repairs on equipment and refers issues to maintenance to avoid production delays.
  • Follow established guidelines on policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Communicate any product discrepancies or equipment malfunctions to relieving operators and shift managers as part of the shift change procedure.
