About The Position

We're looking for a hard-working, eager to learn individual to join our team! The individual is responsible to operate the equipment efficiently to meet productivity and product quality performance objectives, demonstrate a positive attitude and open-mindedness in order to optimize teamwork. This individual must have industrial mechanic competencies and be able to learn how to adjust, troubleshoot, repair and operate machinery in the facility.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a machine operator
  • Mechanical skills
  • Understand the operation of production equipment
  • Work in a structured way (organization and planning)
  • Be in good physical shape
  • Leadership, sense of responsibility, proactive
  • Ability to solve problems

Responsibilities

  • Operate all the consoles and make the required adjustments to the various components of the equipment
  • Ensure the production of products according to the production schedule
  • Use different tools and/or equipment. Responsible for the tools made available to him
  • Ensure the proper functioning of equipment and perform preventive maintenance. Find solutions to production problems
  • Coordinate the execution of tasks within his team (8 people)
  • Provide staff training
  • Ensure that each procedure is respected (quality, health and safety, etc.)
  • Ensure that manufactured products meet quality standards
  • Identify issues and improve quality standards
  • Actively participate in production meetings and share relevant information
  • Ensure the cleaning of premises and equipment in order to keep the work environment clean and safe
  • Participate in the development of OHS correction and prevention solutions
  • Complete the various reports
  • Collaborate with the production team to optimize the manufacturing process, work in continuous improvement mode to eliminate problems at the source
