About The Position

Avery Dennison Corporation is seeking a Production Machine Operator who is mechanically curious, takes ownership of their equipment, and thrives in a performance-driven environment. Located in the Greenfield industrial corridor, our facility is easily accessible from I-70, making it a quick 20-minute commute for talent coming from East Indianapolis, Shelbyville, or Anderson. This role offers a high-paying opportunity outside the heavy traffic of Marion County. As a Production Machine Operator of our manufacturing lines, you will lead machine operations by performing set-ups, changeovers, and monitoring equipment to meet production targets. You will also troubleshoot and improve processes by identifying root causes of malfunctions, ensure precision by using tape measures and tools to maintain close tolerances and "zero-defect" quality, and drive safety and teamwork by prioritizing a safety-first mindset and stepping in to help coworkers meet site goals.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED OR 3+ years of manufacturing experience.
  • Mechanically curious.

  • Technical Aptitude: Enjoys understanding how machines work.
  • Adaptability: Can pivot quickly when production priorities shift.
  • Reliability: Dependable and values a consistent attendance record.
  • May require the ability to stand/walk for up to 80% of your shift.
  • Frequent pushing, pulling, bending, reaching, and squatting 50% of the time.
  • May require the ability to lift up to 50 pounds 50% of your shift.
  • May require being comfortable working in an environment with varying temperatures.
  • Must complete a pre-hire medical questionnaire.
  • Must successfully complete a comprehensive background check and a drug screening post-offer.

Responsibilities
