About The Position

This role involves working independently and efficiently in a manufacturing environment, performing machine and quality checks, and ensuring compliance with quality standards for in-process parts and finished products. The associate will be responsible for operating material handling equipment, processing shipping and receiving documents, and accurately inputting inventory transactions into the computer system. The position requires shift work, overtime, and a punctual attendance record. The work environment includes automation and constantly moving equipment, necessitating alertness and good communication skills with team members and internal departments. The role also involves participation in company activities and maintaining 5S standards.

Requirements

Ability to work independently and efficiently.
Must understand and follow operator instructions.
Good communication skills with team members.

Punctual presence (attendance and timeliness).
Must be alert, working in an area of automation and constant moving equipment.
Must be able to operate all material handling equipment in an alert, safe and effective manner.
Accurate input of all transactions related to inventory into computer system.
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
Good hand/eye coordination due to the repetitive nature of the job.
Must be able to constantly lift and carry up to 35 lbs.
Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and kneel.
Must be able to apply up to 66lbs push/pull force unassisted.
Must be able to reach overhead.

Responsibilities

Perform machine and quality checks as outlined on work instructions.
Understand and follow the operator instructions for the area.
Inspect in-process parts and finished product to insure compliance with standards.
Effectively communicate process/product problems.
Communicate effectively with team members.
Work required shifts and overtime.
Maintain punctual attendance and timeliness.
Remain alert while working in an area of automation and constant moving equipment.
Inspect incoming parts and outgoing shipments to insure compliance with Quality standards.
Operate all material handling equipment in an alert, safe and effective manner.
Process freight bills, packing slips, receiving reports, bill of lading, and other related receiving and shipping forms.
Accurately input all inventory-related transactions into the computer system.
Participate in company activities such as IATF16949, ISO9001, ISO14001 and Employee Involvement.
Communicate and involve effectively with team members and internal departments.
Understand and comply with company policies and procedures.
Perform duties with minimal supervision.
