About The Position

The Production Loader inspects, packages, and palletizes products according to Truvant and customer specifications. This role involves completing required paperwork, understanding product palletization, identifying defects, monitoring weights and case counts, assembling cases, and operating a pallet jack. On-the-job training is provided for this position.

Ability to keep company and customer information that is discussed or viewed while under employment with Truvant confidential.
Ability to adhere to all regulatory and company policies, procedures, work instructions including but not limited to: Truvant policies, customer specific policies, ISO, GMP’s, USDA, regulatory food safety and food defense.
Must be able to read documents, printouts, computer screens and other communication.
Must be able to hear well enough to communicate with co-workers.
Must be able to reach, touch, grasp.
Must be able to stand and/or walk for prolonged periods of time.
Must be able to climb, stoop/kneel, lift, pull and push.
Must be able to conduct yourself in a safe manner to avoid accidents while on the production floor.
Must be able to work in various environments based on building location and products.
Level of Physical Requirements: Sedentary to medium work level; lifting and positioning weight loads up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

One year of hands-on experience in manufacturing preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Inspect, package, and palletize products to Truvant and customer specifications.
Complete all required paperwork that applies to specified areas and products.
Understand palletization of each product.
Identify defects in packages/pouches.
Monitor weights and case counts.
Assemble cases either manually or automatically using case making machine.
Operate a pallet jack.
Perform other duties as assigned.
