About The Position

This position operates production, filling, and/or packaging equipment efficiently and safely on the production and packaging line while maintaining quality and production standards and participating in all aspects of production work to produce Walden Farms products.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
A minimum of 1-2 years previous experience in a food manufacturing environment
Familiarity with food quality and safety programs: HACCP; FSMA

Nice To Haves

Packing, filling, blending, batch making or other food- or cosmetic-related experience

Responsibilities

Operate equipment on the production line/floor, as required
Accurately count and pack cases of products while ensuring product packaging meets company quality standards
Maintain quality and production standards while operating equipment
Possess overall knowledge and understanding of the entire production line
Stack and unstack cases; pack boxes
Inspect bottles, labels, and cases
Communicate and understand numerous product changes, boxes, labels, etc. to the Production Supervisor
Clean work area during shift and changeovers
Participate in the general sanitation of the production space
Maintain expected speeds to keep up with production demands
Report on food safety and quality issues to plant management and quality
Follow all safety, GMP and quality requirements
Work flexibly in various production and packing lines throughout the production floor as instructed by the floor supervisor
Operate auxiliary machines and equipment, as required
Follow process as specified to meet or exceed customer specifications
Perform other duties that may be assigned from time to time
