About The Position
The Production Line Worker is responsible for supporting the efficient operation of production lines in a consumer packaged goods (CPG) manufacturing environment. This role ensures products are properly packaged, labeled, and prepared for distribution while maintaining quality, safety, and productivity standards.
Requirements
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Basic math and counting skills
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or CPG environment is a plus
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor packaging line equipment, including fillers, sealers, labelers, and conveyors
- Package finished goods into boxes, cartons, or containers according to specifications
- Inspect products for quality, including packaging integrity, labeling accuracy, and product defects
- Perform routine line checks and report any issues to the Line Lead or Supervisor
- Maintain proper supply of packaging materials (boxes, labels, shrink wrap, etc.)
- Assist with machine setup, changeovers, and basic troubleshooting
- Keep work area clean and organized in compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Accurately complete production and quality documentation
- Support team members to meet daily production goals
