Requirements

5+ years of progressive manufacturing experience.
Previous experience leading production teams in an industrial manufacturing environment.
Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot production equipment.
Experience supporting preventive maintenance programs.
Proven ability to improve productivity, quality, and operational performance.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Nice To Haves

Manufacturing leadership experience in HVAC, sheet metal fabrication, industrial equipment, or machinery manufacturing.
Experience with CNC-controlled fabrication equipment.
Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Kaizen experience.
Welding, fabrication, or assembly knowledge.
ERP/MRP system experience.
Forklift certification.
Experience with Flow Water Jet Systems.
Experience with CNC Press Brakes.
Experience with AMADA Fabrication Equipment.
Experience with Copper Tube Bending Machines.
Experience with Multi-Press Hydraulic Press Systems.
Experience with sheet metal fabrication and assembly equipment.

Responsibilities

Lead daily production operations to achieve safety, quality, productivity, and delivery goals.
Supervise, coach, and develop production employees while fostering a positive team culture.
Monitor production schedules and resolve issues that impact efficiency.
Coordinate with Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, Supply Chain, and Customer Service to keep operations running smoothly.
Troubleshoot production equipment and work with maintenance to minimize downtime.
Support preventive maintenance programs and recommend equipment improvements.
Monitor production performance and identify opportunities to improve productivity and reduce waste.
Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective actions.
Promote Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and quality standards.
Conduct performance evaluations, provide coaching, and support employee development and cross-training.
