Requirements

Two years of experience in a manufacturing setting (high-speed manufacturing is preferred).
Must be mechanically inclined.
Exhibit safety and quality as their top priorities.
Effective and proven communication skills (both written and verbal) working in a team environment.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience with metal coatings is a plus.

Responsibilities

Assist Production Line Mechanic with all direct and indirect production equipment, such as: feeders, slitters, welders, conveyors, elevators, flangers, beaders, double seamers, tester, palletizers, strappers etc.
Operate and assist Production Line Mechanic in maintaining production line efficiencies, quality of production and records.
Perform quality checks.
Work under the direction of Production Line Mechanic.
Follow all required environmental, health and safety procedures.
Maintain proper housekeeping and safety – keep work area clean.
