About The Position

The Production Line Lead is responsible for operating equipment & machines in our facility while preparing items for distribution. The Production Line Lead is responsible for operating a production packaging machine and monitoring the packaging of our products following safe food handling requirements under SQF and HACCP. In this role, you will be a valuable part of our production team, ensuring our production quotas are met in a timely fashion while observing the highest standards of safety and quality. You will need to be reliable and punctual, able to perform repetitive physical tasks, and lift regularly.

Requirements

Ability to read, sort, check, count, and verify numbers
Physically able to lift and manipulate heavy objects
Clearly and concisely communicate verbally and in writing
High school diploma/GED required
Equivalent combinations of education and work experience will be considered

Nice To Haves

Food & Beverage or perishable goods industry experience highly desirable

Responsibilities

Work with Production Supervisor and Operator Technicians to operate a filler machine on our production lines
Monitor line to ensure the line workers are able to keep up with the flow of product, paying attention to needs to pause the machine as-needed to troubleshoot “down the line” issues
Ensure that production requirements and standards are met consistently
Make every effort to increase productivity and efficiency without compromising quality
Operate machinery correctly and maintain it with care
Report any machinery issues to management
Work cooperatively with the production team to meet quotas and goals
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Observe all safety guidelines and report safety concerns to management
Follow all written and verbal instructions
Attend all safety and production training
Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude
Team player with a solid work ethic who is always prompt and committed to maintaining consistent work attendance
Display exceptional attention to detail as well as the adaptability to move to a different position in the production line as required
