About The Position

Volt is immediately hiring for a Production Line Lead in Fremont, CA. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity. As a Production Line Lead, you will be responsible for assigning and coordinating operators to designated job tasks while ensuring daily production goals are met. You will also promote a safe work environment by monitoring safe work practices and reporting unsafe conditions to management. Additionally, you will ensure operators follow SOPs and provide training support to improve skill levels in partnership with Manufacturing Engineers (MEs). You will monitor production activities, including RMA repair status, cycle times, quality issues, and daily build progress, and communicate updates to supervisors and project managers. Maintaining workstations by verifying parts, tools, fixtures, consumables, calibrations, preventive maintenance, and adherence to 5S standards is also a key responsibility. You will manage nonconforming material (MRB), remove outdated consumables, and coordinate process improvements or SOP updates with supervisors and MEs.

Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Ability to read and write English
  • Ability to lift 40 pounds
  • Experience in 10k cleanroom
