About The Position

ITU AbsorbTech is hiring a full-time Production Light Operator to join our team in South Bend, IN. Our production facilities process industrial laundry, including washing, drying, preparing, and organizing floor mats, shop towels, uniforms, and Sorbits®. Items are received directly from the customer for cleaning. In this role, you will sort, fold, separate, and count received items, inspect garments for rips and tears, and package products for delivery to customers. This is a physically demanding position that requires pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 30 lbs on a repetitive basis.

Requirements

• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position (pushing, pulling, lifting up to 50lbs, standing/walking for duration of shift)
• A good attitude, team player, attention to detail, and a focus on safety
