About The Position
ITU AbsorbTech is hiring a full-time Production Light Operator to join our team in South Bend, IN. Our production facilities process industrial laundry: we wash, dry, prepare, and organize floor mats, shop towels, uniforms and Sorbits®, our own absorbent brand line of products. Items that need to be cleaned come to our production facility directly from the customer.
Requirements
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position (pushing, pulling, lifting up to 50lbs, standing/walking for duration of shift)
- A good attitude, team player, attention to detail, and a focus on safety
Responsibilities
- Sort, fold, separate and count received items
- Inspect garments for rips and tears
- Package products to be delivered to customers
