About The Position

As our next Production Mining Leading Hand to proudly represent our Iron Bridge Mining Team, you will live for challenges and thrive on the variety of work available. In this role, you will: Assist the Production Supervisor with leading a mining crew to safely and efficiently deliver production results Carry out effective inspection and reporting processes in accordance with relevant site policies and procedures Co-ordination of production operators and equipment to deliver the production schedule Conduct mining practices to reduce costs and improve efficiency Actively seek continuous improvement

Requirements

• Proven leadership experience and people management skills is essential
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as Crew Leading Hand in an open-cut mining environment is preferred
• Previous experience acting as a Step-Up Mining Supervisor in an open-cut mining environment is highly regarded
• A solid understanding of the processes involved with open cut mining
• Great organisational, communication and presentation skills coupled with approachable and motivational qualities
