About The Position

Trane Technologies in Clarksville, Tennessee is hiring a Production Leader for our second shift. Our Clarksville facility manufactures commercial HVAC products. In this role you will supervise and coordinate daily operation of production shift with responsibility for achieving quality and cost effectiveness in an on time and efficient manner. Responsible for implementing and driving change in a high volume, fast-paced, lean manufacturing environment. Interacts daily with department supervisors/leaders in Operations, Quality, Human Resources, Finance, Materials, Engineering, and Continuous Improvement. Requirements

H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
Previous manufacturing supervisory or leadership experience
Excellent problem solving and conflict management skills
Effective communication skills that demonstrate a supportive team member

Responsibilities

Responsible for overall performance of the team, focusing on safety, quality, cost, time, and output.
Supervise materials usage to ensure a smooth production flow.
Support ongoing plant programs and goals by identifying opportunities for process improvements.
Collaborate with other department supervisors/leaders in Operations, Quality, HR, Finance, Materials, Engineering, and Continuous Improvement.
Regularly communicate goals and plant-wide initiatives with the leadership team and all members.
Engage in training, development, and fostering positive employee relations.
