About The Position

Guide and train production employees and coordinate quality checks on assigned production line. The Production Lead will be responsible for training and directing 12-40 employees, assigning plant operations during the shift, meeting production schedules, and ensuring employee and product safety. This role requires a strong focus on production and quality, monitoring usages and paperwork, and demonstrating leadership abilities.

Requirements

• Demonstrated leadership abilities
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2 years of experience working in a food manufacturing environment
• Fundamental understanding of Lean Manufacturing
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and SAP preferred
• Ability to follow-up
• Ability to be punctual and outgoing
• Ability to communicate and work well with others in a plant environment
• Ability to successfully multi-task
• Ability to ensure collaborative relationships with industry, trade, other associations, regulatory agencies and company staff
• Ability to trouble shoot
