Production Lead (Gonzales, LA)
About The Position
The Production Lead assists with the day-to-day store operation and production performance to meet or exceed budget while in compliance with company standards, policies and procedures. This role performs the duties of a supervisor when assigned by the Store Manager or Production Manager and may act in a supervisory capacity during scheduled work hours. The Production Lead is responsible for ensuring proper production of donations are processed and ready for the store floor, acting as a positive role model for employees and trainees, and maintaining a clean and safe store environment. They must also be able to perform the job duties of Production Associates and attend work on regularly scheduled shifts.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED and 6 months supervisory experience or a minimum of 90 days in the service industry.
- Must be able to read, write and communicate clearly in English.
- Must successfully complete Retail training.
Nice To Haves
- Prior work experience in the service industry preferred.
Responsibilities
- Reach production goal guidelines (minimum of 110 garments per hour with a minimum quality standard of 90%).
- Ensure proper production of donations get processed and ready to put on the store floor.
- Act as a positive role model for employees and trainees in all aspects of professional performance.
- Produce donated goods in the backroom adequately.
- Create a positive public image of Goodwill through a clean store environment, attractive displays and presentable, personable personnel.
- Maintain safe and appropriate conditions in the back-room area.
- Keep the store clean and hazard free by vacuuming, mopping and dusting, (including cleaning the bathrooms.)
- Observe personnel and safety policies and procedures. Ensure compliance by Production Associates.
- Be able to perform the job duties of the Production Associates.
- Attend work on the regularly scheduled shifts as assigned by the manager for the week.
