About The Position

Manage all aspects of Malthouse Operations. Support all company initiatives, programs and policies with a positive attitude. Enforce Plant Operating Rules and Regulations and Safety Rules. Work diligently and cooperatively with other employees to achieve all goals, targets and initiatives set forth by Management. Closely monitor malting process and act diligently to avoid any quality issues or production delays. Supervise malt production personnel, with overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of his/her unit. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Lead operator carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Participate in all required training and education. Lead operator should develop his/her own Career Development Plan under the direction of Management and Human Resource Department. Oversee daily operations on the floor to avoid any delays, recover from delays, prevent accidents, and maintain quality and efficiency. Please notify Process Manager of noteworthy actions taken.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
  • Minimum 5+ years of direct supervisory experience.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting
  • Proficiency with MS Word and MS Excel.
  • Ability to handle the physical requirements of the position, including repeated bending, stretching, walking, twisting and lifting.

  • Experience in malthouse operations preferred.
