If so, we are seeking a Production Lead who is responsible for leading and coaching the production team to meet branch goals, operational procedures, and thrill Berlin customers.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of previous experience in a production warehouse environment.
  • Required to take and pass the Company Forklift Certification program, which ensures you will be able to operate a forklift in accordance with Berlin Packaging’s safety guidelines. Failure to pass the exam results in the Company ending your employment.
  • Demonstrates leadership skills and a positive attitude.
  • Is reliable, detail oriented, and takes initiative.
  • Effectively access and use a computer for job related functions. Such as printing labels/reports, enter data into Company systems, etc.
  • Models safe work practices.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and coaching to Production Associates and Machine Operators.
  • Carry out production schedule based on customer needs, as well as efficiency for operators performing changeovers.
  • Complete appropriate processes for accurate inventory counts pre- and post-production.
  • Pull and prepare product for completion, ensuring that quantities and items match repack order.
  • Ensure all incoming product meets the Berlin Quality Standards.
  • Communicate with Warehouse Management to fulfill orders and meet shipping deadlines.
  • Ensure compliance with cGMP and ISO Policies.
  • Maintain a safe working environment consistent with Berlin Safety Manual.
  • Support all branch metrics.
  • Serve as a role model for the employee portion of the Berlin Values by demonstrating a strong work ethic, teamwork, loyalty, innovation, productivity, and driving profitable results.
  • Other tasks as required.
