About The Position

Overview The Production Lead is responsible for managing production floor operations to ensure workflow efficiency, safety, and on-time completion of production goals. This role provides leadership and direction to Production Associates, Production Specialists, and pod production ensuring materials, processes, and teams are aligned to maintain continuous production flow. The Production Lead serves as the primary point of contact for resolving workflow issues, coordinating shift transitions, and driving performance on the floor.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 3+ years of experience in production, warehouse, or logistics; leadership or lead experience strongly preferred.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal English instructions accurately.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and problem solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to motivate and lead a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic proficiency with computer systems and digital tools relevant to daily operations.
  • Dependable, adaptable, and committed to safety and quality standards.
  • Must be able to stand for at least 8 hours at a day and up to 10 hours per day during peak periods.
  • Must be able to lift up to 30-50 pounds.
  • Must perform repetitive motions for an entire shift (bending, reaching, lifting, scanning labels, packing boxes).
  • Must be able to work onsite for all scheduled shifts.
  • Must be able to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and moderate noise.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee operations: Manage daily production activities across pods, ensuring goals are met.
  • Support team members: Provide guidance and assistance to Production Associates and Operators as needed.
  • Coordinate workflows: Assign tasks, monitor progress, and adjust as necessary to maintain production flow.
  • Problem solve: Address escalated issues promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain quality and safety: Ensure compliance with safety standards and organizational procedures.
  • Facilitate transitions: Lead setup, shift changeovers, and cleanup for smooth handoffs.
  • Communicate effectively: Act as the link between floor staff and management, relaying updates and feedback.
  • Drive performance: Track production metrics and collaborate with leadership to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
  • Train and mentor: Support onboarding and development of new production team members.
