About The Position

This role is for a 1st Shift Inbound Production Lead, a full-time position operating from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. The Lead will be responsible for training and certifying team members on material handling equipment, ensuring the efficient and safe operation of all equipment, and overseeing processes such as receiving, packaging, stocking, fulfillment, checking, and shipping of products to meet established standards. The Lead will also focus on developing team members through training, feedback, and guidance, monitoring productivity, fostering a team-based environment, and conducting team meetings to discuss performance and solutions. Maintaining a clean work area, assisting in developing work instructions, participating in operational development and problem-solving meetings, and supporting company policies are also key aspects of the role. The position may require occasional performance of crew member duties and working evenings and weekends as needed.

  • Team lifting or material handling equipment is required for items over 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Train and certify team members on material handling equipment as needed.
  • Ensure the efficient and safe operation of all material handling equipment.
  • Oversee processes including receiving, packaging, stocking, fulfillment, checking, and shipping of products to meet established standards.
  • Lead and develop team members by providing training, feedback, and guidance.
  • Monitor employee productivity and foster a team-based environment.
  • Conduct team meetings to share performance data, discuss corrective actions, and implement solutions.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Assist in developing and updating departmental work instructions.
  • Participate in operational development and problem-solving meetings.
  • Support and enforce management recommendations and company policies.
  • Occasionally perform crew member duties as needed.
  • Work evenings and weekends as required.
