About The Position

Atlas Molded Products is seeking a 1st Shift Production Lead at its Fond du Lac, Wisconsin facility. The role combines operational oversight with team development, continuous improvement, and leadership growth. The Production Lead will support efficient production, foster a people-focused team environment, and participate in development opportunities that can prepare them for future roles within the organization.

Requirements

• Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Demonstrated experience in a leadership role, whether professional or volunteer.
• A people-focused approach.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to motivate and guide a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• May be required to have a valid driver’s license, a satisfactory driving record, and insurance coverage appropriate for legal and safe driving of vehicles for company-related business.

Responsibilities

• Onboard and train new team members, serving as a mentor and resource.
• Conduct daily pre-shift meetings covering safety, quality, and production targets.
• Enforce safety practices and ensure team members have appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Collaborate with team members to identify and implement process improvements.
• Address production issues promptly and escalate systemic challenges to the Production Supervisor.
• Communicate across shifts with other Team Leads and Leaders to support seamless operations.
• Update and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and other relevant area metrics.
• Develop, maintain, and audit Team Member Standard Work procedures.
• Participate in leadership development programs, cross-training, and continuous learning initiatives.
