Production Lead

About The Position

The facility is loud at times, with machinery, equipment and production lines running continuously. Hearing protection is required in most parts of the facility. Conditions may vary in some areas are climate-controlled others not. Climate may contain dust partials due to production processes.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
• Capable of standing for extended periods and performing physical tasks such as bending, stooping, and reaching overhead.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a team lead prefered.
• Familiarity with ERP/MES systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating and monitoring daily production activities to meet operational goals.
• Provide direction and support to team members, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time.
• Train and mentor new employees on procedures, equipment, and safety practices.
• Communicate effectively with team members and escalate issues to supervisors as needed.
• Maintain accurate records related to production, timekeeping, and audits.
• Support inventory tracking and material handling using scanners and warehouse systems.
• Identify and report equipment malfunctions or material shortages.
• Promote a safe and organized work environment by enforcing company policies and safety protocols.
