About The Position

As a Joe V's Production Lead, you will supervise, schedule, train, and coach Production Team Partners. Your role involves ensuring productivity, safety, sanitation levels, quality control, and managing the ordering of product, supplies, and ingredients for production. You will perform all job responsibilities with a sense of ownership and a team approach.

Requirements

18+ years of age.
6+ months of related experience.
Experience working in a fast-paced, high volume environment.
Strong working knowledge of assigned department(s) or area(s).
Understanding of basic financial workings of assigned department, and how to drive profitability.
Advanced customer service skills.
Strong verbal / written communication and interpersonal skills.
Conflict resolution and influencing skills.
PC skills.
Ability to provide feedback on department procedures.
Ability to be flexible in adjusting priorities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and shift focus between tasks.
Ability to work a flexible schedule.
Proficiency in Scanner and Business Center duties and skills.
Completion of job skills training, compliance-related training, and divisional orientation.

Responsibilities

Supervise, schedule, train, and coach Production Team Partners.
Ensure productivity, safety, sanitation levels, and quality control.
Order product, supplies, and ingredients for production.
Apply experience and knowledge to support the Store and Department in the Manager's absence.
Lead a team in efficient day-to-day operations and maintain a constant workflow.
Delegate/direct work, assist with setting department-related expectations (e.g., ORT, wrap, safety, sanitation, 5s), motivate Partners, and provide feedback.
Assist with department work schedules.
Train new partners on production processes.
Ensure compliance with company, Store, and department policies and procedures.
Assist in all technical areas such as scanning, as needed.
Handle Customer, Partner, and sanitation issues according to guidelines, escalating to management as needed.
Troubleshoot and report equipment issues.
Ensure adequate levels of product and supplies for day-to-day operations.
Serve as a central contact between the Manager and other Production Team Partners.
Perform Department and cross-functional duties as needed.
Model and foster excellent customer service.
Be responsible for ordering product and ingredients for the production area; assist with loads, unloads, and moves product.
Execute and ensure compliance of the Fresh Production Planner.
Ensure all production processes are followed to minimize shrink and ensure quality control.
Ensure tag to tag integrity for production planograms.
Ensure First In / First Out and dating of salesfloor items & bulk production process is followed.
Ensure the wareroom and wrap areas are organized.
Practice safety awareness.
Oversee that production area sanitation standards are met.
Ensure compliance with department SOPs.
Clean and sanitize sales floor, display cases, prep areas, and equipment.
Comply with department / Store operating procedures and federal / state regulations.
